Community center (C Block): We firmly believe that good vision
is one of the most basic human needs. We therefore have the community
clinic to ensure that no one who comes to us who is blind, remains so,
if it is within our skill and resources, to restore his sight or prevent
it from further deterioration.
Outreach programmes: Towards the aim of reducing the prevalence of blindness in the community we have implemented some regular programmes that benefit the poor.
Our local outreach programmes: We regularly conduct cataract screening camps in the areas that are allotted to us by the district blindness control society. (Photos of some camp sites)
Our international outreach programmes: We also have an annual cataract screening camp at in Africa. The last camp was conducted at Accra, Ghana, West Africa and so far 1000 cases have been operated.
